Kelvin Thompson is a renowned Saulteaux Nation carver, renowned worldwide for his unique artwork with gold, silver, ivory, and wood. He has been carving since 1978, and apprenticed with recognized carvers such as Henry Robertson, Barry Wilson, and Derek Wilson. His designs are reflective of the Haisla Nation’s cultural influences, (his adoptive family), and create a unique, beautiful statement.
