    William Henderson Killer Whale Paddle

    Master Carver Bill Henderson is a respected member of the Wei Wai Kum First Nation who has been carving for over 60 years. Born in 1950 to renowned artist Sam Henderson, Bill created his first carving at age 7 and has since become the preeminent carver in Kwakwaka'wakw, a northern Wakashan culture in British Columbia. His work exhibits skillful carving techniques and unmistakable artistry.
