Patrick Amos, a member of the Nuu-chah-nulth Nation's Mowachaht Band, was born in 1957 on Nootka Island. With expertise gained from carving wood since 1979 and through apprenticeships with renowned artists such as Tony Hunt Sr. and Tim Paul, Patrick has been designing limited edition prints. His work has been featured in various exhibitions and collections, including the Royal British Columbia Museum in Victoria. Patrick has also been commissioned for large projects, such as a mural for Mount Klitsa Junior Secondary School and a totem pole for Alberni District Secondary School. He is actively involved in his community, conducting carving demonstrations and teaching native art classes.
