Cecilia Adams is a renowned First Nations artist, born in 1981 in Gitsegukla, BC, to the House of Laxaax of the Frog clan. She began her apprenticeship with her father, Nisga’a Master Carver Randy Adams-Dangeli, at the age of nine. As her career blossomed, her work and interpretations of traditional Haida, Coast Salish, and Nisga’a art forms have been exhibited in galleries and museums across North America.
