This is a Maxinuxw-Killer Whale. I’ve utilized the cross-hatching elements, my grandfather, Sam Henderson used and incorporated within my design. Killer whales represent strength and power.
The Polar Bear is known as the wise, powerful "Great Lonely Wanderer." The Bear clan members were the strong and steady police and legal guardians.
The Turtle is sacred in the indigenous culture. It carries the four colours of the medicine wheel, symbolizing important elements and can be different depending on the tribe. The seven circles represent the seven teachings of our people, and inside each circle is a bird that delivers the message of the creator.
The tree symbolizes all knowledge that has been given to us by the Creator and is the strength and foundation of all that is in life.
