    Doug David is a Native American artist born in 1971 in Seattle, Washington. He is the son of Sandra Bluehorse of Sisseton-Wappiton Nakota Nation in North Dakota, and Joe David from Tla-O-Qui-Aht First Nations in British Columbia. His art is deeply rooted in his Indigenous heritage.
