Robert Rufus is a carver from Alert Bay, BC, with 20 years of experience. Drawing on his Kwagiulth heritage, he carves primarily in cedar and is inspired by renowned carver Gary Thomas. Robert's pieces let him share his culture, demonstrating his connection with traditional methods of carving.
