Simply smoked sockeye salmon. These pouches have travelled into space, delighting astronauts at the International Space Station four times (in 1996, 1998, 2009 and 2012). The salmon has been lightly salted and smoked with hardwood smoke, then heat processed in the gold pouch. The salmon keeps without refrigeration until it is opened.
Use to make a simple meal special - serve with fresh bread and cream cheese, or break gently into bite-sized pieces and add to a fresh green salad or simple pasta dish.
